- Registration 13:45 until 15:00
- Race briefing at 15:15
- Please do not park at the Porth Eirias complex, unless you have booked a table at the restaurant for a post-race meal
- Gog Tri club are planning an informal social on the beach after the event, depending on the weather. Bring a picnic and come join us

GOG Triathlon are proud to host the Welsh Aquathlon Championships for 2018. Competitors will start on the golden sands of Porth Eirias Beach for a 750m sea swim, held over two 375m laps with an Australian exit/entrance, straight onto a fast flat 5km run along Colwyn Bay sea front.
For all Welsh Triathlon affiliated athletes this is an excellent opportunity to claim a National Age Group Title, you must be affiliated to Welsh Triathlon in advance of the event and you must put your Welsh Triathlon Membership number on the entry form starting with the letter W. You don’t need to be a member of Welsh Triathlon to enter the race, only to be eligible for the Welsh Aquathlon Championship.
Entries are limited to 80, so be quick and take the opportunity for some great safe racing and potentially your first steps to a National Title!

Entries are limited to 120, so be quick and take the opportunity for some great safe racing and potentially your first steps to a National Title!
Entry is £25.00, all entries must be in advance, no entries are accepted on the day. By entering this event you agree that you are a competent swimmer and will not be endangering yourself, other entrants or the safety crew through your participation. By entering this event you also agree that to the best of your knowledge you are fit, healthy and able to race at this event without endangering your health or that of other competitors.
Wetsuits shall be compulsory for the swim portion of the event unless water temperature on the day dictates otherwise
Entries open the 1st of March 2017 and close on the 8th of July. This is a strict closing date with no entries allowed after entry closes.
