Colwyn Bay Athletic Club’s Twin Piers 10k – Jan 2010

GOG Triathlon Club were well represented in Colwyn Bay A/C’s Twin Piers 10km on Saturday.

Simon Cole was first home for the GOG’s in 3rd place overall in a fantastic time of 32.19. The Triathletes also had age category winners in the U20 and Vet 75 age categories showing the club has talent spanning the generations. James Smith was 18th overall (1st U20) in 36.12. He was followed by Alun Brown in 36.45, Geran Hughes 38.09, Mark Davies 40.29, Andy Jones 41.45, Iwan Davies 42.33, Bleddyn Evans 42.48, James Watkins 43.29, Andy Brazier 44.01, Paul Algieri 44.10, James Astrop 44.08, Andrew Roberts 44.38, Sion Hughes 45.55, Merfyn Jones 46.20, Steven Owen 47.50, Rory Fish 49.36, and Joshua White 51:33. Alan Benn (1st Vet75) clocked 52.44.

First GOG female Mared Dafydd raced well to finish in 42.30 in 10th place overall.  She was followed by Victoria Cole in 46.15, Caitlin Owen 49.14, Paula Stevens 50.28, Nan Roberts 57.08, Laura Lambe 58.37, Diane Fish 1.03.06 and Sarah Marriott 1.04.28
